Critical financial health

Your situation is delicate and very exposed to any setback. In order: cut expensive debt (cards, revolving), gather a first €1,000 buffer and start tracking where your money goes. One step at a time.

Information, not tax or financial advice.

How the financial health test works

This test sums up the state of your finances in a score from 0 to 100 based on eight questions: emergency fund, savings rate, debt, housing cost, investing, retirement planning, protection against setbacks (insurance) and tracking your spending.

How to read the result. Each question is weighted by importance (the emergency fund and savings weigh most). The score places you in a category, from critical to strong, with a priority tip.

How to use it. It's not an exam but a starting point. If your score is low, start with what weighs most (an emergency buffer and cutting expensive debt) and retake it in a few months.

An important note. It's general guidance based on common personal-finance rules, not a diagnosis tailored to your situation.
